Owner Shaun transformed a former Puyallup feed store into a gastro pub with real character — locally sourced ingredients, made-from-scratch cooking, and a space that felt like it had always belonged to the neighborhood.
The Kitchen Philosophy
From Mom's Sloppy Joe and the Gooey Grilled Cheese Melt to empanadas and Thai Noodle Salad — comfort food done with craft, and a few surprises along the way. Every sauce is made in-house, no corners cut.
Earned Recognition
The Public House Meatballs earned a spot on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives — and the community has kept voting ever since, awarding Showcase Magazine's People's Choice honor every year from 2016 through 2024.
